Our story
Our genesis story is rooted in Amanda’s personal journey. Amidst her own desperation, Jesus revealed His transformative power of faithfulness and unconditional love. Out of that encounter, Red Heart of Hope was born — a ministry of Christian encouragement offering faith-based gifts that serve as tangible reminders of His presence and promise.
Red Heart of Hope exists to serve as a lifeline — a source of hope when words falter and burdens feel too heavy to bear. The name itself captures the very soul of our mission: a vivid symbol of Jesus’ love and the unshakeable power of His sacrifice.
Guided by Amanda’s profound encounters with Christ, we aspire to be a living reflection of His faithfulness. Even in the depths of uncertainty, we believe there remains an unextinguished light — a hope that cannot be overcome.

The red heart symbolizes the blood He shed for us, a reminder of Romans 12:12:
“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
The following is a suggested way to anoint your Red Heart of
Hope or prayer card:

Set your intention for the use of the RHH or prayer card. This could be for protection, healing, guidance, blessing, or any other specific purpose.

Take a small amount of the anointing oil onto your fingertips. Gently rub or dab the oil onto the Red Heart of Hope or prayer card. You may choose to make a cross or circle with the oil as you apply it.

As you apply the oil, state your intention out loud or in your mind. You can use your own words, scripture, or traditional prayers. If words fail you, just speak the name of Jesus. Focus on your intention and visualize the desired outcome. Prayer is your lifeline to Jesus.

Express gratitude for the protection, blessings, guidance, or healing that you seek or have received. Give thanks to Jesus.

When you feel ready, close the prayer in a way that is meaningful to you.

There are countless ways you can use or share your RHH. Not sure how to use them? Here are a few ways we have used our Red Heart.
1. Optional, anoint your Red Heart of Hope with anointing oil.
2. Place it in a desired location – in your teenager’s car or backpack, under your child’s pillow.
3. Gift to a friend – or someone who needs comfort or encouragement going through a hard season.
4. Keep it to pray over yourself, your family, or a friend.According to Dictionary.com, the word ‘anoint’ means to consecrate or make sacred in a ceremony that includes applying oil* or to dedicate to the service of God. *Essential oils or olive oil can be used.Throughout the Old and New Testaments, any anointed person would use anointing oil to anoint themselves or others. Jesus Christ instructed his disciples to anoint themselves whenever they prayed and fasted (Matthew 6:17KJV). Jesus also filled the disciples with his power over unclean spirits (Mark 6:7, 12-13KJV). Now, as a believer, because the Holy Spirit is within you, you have the power to anoint others or yourself.
